Tip #10
What is the difference between soldering and welding?

When soldering a ring you use SOLDER. Solder is an alloy designed to flow at a lower temperature then the ring. When welding a ring you use a FILLER MATERIAL. Filler Material is the same material as the ring and you must hammer it thin (0.2mm) so it flows easily.
